The Barn Door Grill is the latest addition to the Bluegrass Stockyards Regional Marketplace. The passionate project was started by the dynamic duo of Renie Murphy and Danny McCray, who are lifelong actors in the food, beverage, and equestrian industries. The Bluegrass Stockyards and this multi-faceted couple is a perfect fit. The goal of fulfilling the much-needed demand of fresh and local fare in the area intrigued The Barn Door Family. Renie, Danny, and their talented staff have made full use of the state-of-the-art kitchen featured in the Stockyards’ main building. This house is full of chefs, seasoned cooks, and food service experts with nearly 100 years of experience. This astronomical group of people makes the Barn Door Grill guaranteed to impress.

Their ever-evolving menu features their own southern-style comfort food. Every single item is cooked fresh to order. The purpose is built to suit the palate of the Kentuckian, with an authentically Appalachian and Southern medley. The Barn Door’s menu includes the delicious, fresh, and local ingredients: cage-free eggs, meats, and vegetables. They are sourced from Kentucky Proud products and fresh bread is delivered weekly from bakeries. They come together to give you impressive spreads. This includes breakfast to mouthwatering sandwiches piled high with meats that are sliced daily, and the best burger in town!

“Me and You Events” is offered through the Barn Door as the catering service for any manner of groups. Whether you’d like selections from the menu, or your own custom orders, the Barn Door and Me and You Events will happily provide food, drinks, and attendees to take care of your needs for any occasion.

The Bluegrass Stockyards offers a spacious conference hall where your guests can relax and enjoy any choice of culinary delights which are made fresh in-house.
